Please arrive on time to your scheduled drop off/appointment

We run “By appointment only” for many reasons. We are a small facility ran by just a few of us with dogs to care for and supervise outside. Katelyn and her family have opened up their home/property to serve as your dogs’ “Home away from home” and would like to continue to do so with respect of our business hours. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes early, or 5 minutes late, to any scheduled appointment. We understand things happen - please send us a text or email if you are running late so we can plan accordingly. We will no longer be accepting any grooming clients that arrive 15 minutes late - your appointment will need to be rescheduled - NO EXCEPTIONS

DAYCARE DROP OFF IS BETWEEN 7-8 AM AND PICKUP IS BETWEEN 5-6PM. Please do not show up early to pick your pup up unless discussed with Katelyn. We are working with your pup right up until 5PM whether that be playgroups, one on one time or preparing your pup to go home and ensuring he/she is dry and clean. Our doors will lock at 8:05 each morning so we can begin our day with the pups.

Boarding drop off/pick up is scheduled within our open hours in 15 minute increments - please arrive at your scheduled time. We will no longer be keeping our lobby doors open past these times.

Please pick your pup up once completed (Grooming appointments)

We spread out all grooming appointments throughout the day to provide a one on one approach. In order to do this, all dogs must be picked up in a timely manner once completed. We will always give you a 30 minute heads up prior to completion time.

Your pup must be picked up within 30 minutes of that completion time. That gives you just about 1 hour to plan accordingly to pick up your pup. Any dog not picked up within 30 minutes of completion time will result in an automatic late pickup fee that will vary based on how late the pickup is. Your pup is here for grooming, not daycare.

That being said, please wait for us to contact you to pick up your pup. We groom as fast and safely as we can and try to complete all pups in a timely manner. Showing up before your pup is completed may cause us to fall behind and take longer than planned.

If someone else will be picking up your pup, please make sure that you provide us with their correct contact information.

Business hours

Katelyn and her family have opened up their home/property to serve as your dogs’ “Home away from home” and would like to continue to do so with respect of our business hours. If the gate is closed, that means that we are closed to visitors or that you have arrived outside of our scheduled appointment times. Please do not unlatch the gate yourself. We will not accept visitors without scheduled appointments out of respect for the owner and her home. Please do not knock on the door of Katelyn’s home at any point in time.

Please pick up after your dog.

We have a “potty station” accessible from the parking area to provide bags and a trash to dispose of them. Please be respectful of our property by cleaning up after your dog.

Please walk your pup along both sides of the walkway. Keeping potty area contained to this area allows us to adequately disinfect/sanitize.

UNALTERED DOGS

We accept unaltered dogs of all ages. That being said, any female in heat WILL be sent home immediately regardless of service rendered. Any female that comes into heat during an overnight stay will need to be picked up immediately. Unfortunately this is due to safety and liability reasons due to other intact dogs within the facility.

APPOINTMENT TIMES

We are a “By appointment only” facility. We have specific drop off/pick up times for some services and others are strictly by appointment. If you have a scheduled boarding or grooming appointment, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early or late to your appointment. If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait in your car until your appointment time. If you are going to be late, please try to contact us to let us know and make sure we will still be able to take your pup at that time.

GROOMING SERVICE PAYMENTS

Grooming service payments are strictly Cash/check only. We will no longer accept any other form of payment for these services.

All other services are cash/check/card. We will NO LONGER ACCEPT VENMO for any service here. We apologize for any inconvenience.

ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED

We ask that all dogs are leashed at all times when on the premises. Do not allow your dog to approach others - not all dogs are friendly or comfortable meeting others.

Do not approach any fenced in yard

Please be respectful of all fenced in play yards on the premises, whether there are dogs present or not. Do not allow your dog to run up to any fenced in area, and please potty your dog right along the walkway leading to the facility. Do not potty your pup anywhere else on the property.

please keep your dog under control at all times

Please keep your dog under control both inside and out of the facility. Please respect our lobby and merchandise within. We ask that you do your best to prevent your dog from jumping all over our desk, merchandise shelves, scratching doors, etc. A lot of hard work was put into creating this welcoming lobby and unfortunately many items have been damaged in this short amount of time. We will be enforcing additional charges if your pup breaks an item within our lobby.

ALL PARKING IS AT THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY

Upon arrival, please drive around the home to the back of the property. Our paved parking area allows for two cars at once. There is additional parking space, however please be respectful of those already parked and do not block anyone in or block the walkway. If you see multiple cars parked, we suggest waiting in the upper driveway until others leave. Please do not park in the upper driveway and walk down, this is a safety hazard. We know our parking area is small and ask for your patience/ cooperation to keep everyone safe and to keep drop offs/pick ups efficient. Please do not park on our lawn.

It can be very difficult for us to answer the phone throughout the day while caring for our guests here. We do not have a receptionist here and wrap up late in the evening most days so we ask that you email or text us for all booking needs or questions. Please allow 5-7 business days for any response from us - sending multiple messages will not get you a faster response. Our new online booking portal is also in use!

OTHER FACILITIES

We will no longer allow dogs into our facility that have been to other facilities in the past 7 days. We are thorough in our cleaning/sanitizing process, but unfortunately not all facilities are and a dog can easily contract a virus from one facility and bring it to another. Our hope with this new policy is to prevent all viruses from entering our facility and allow 7 days for symptoms to show before any dog enters our facility if they have gone elsewhere. We understand some dogs go to multiple facilities for other services, however there will be no exceptions to this policy.
